ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Minesite ("the Site", "we", "us", "our"), a fan-made, community-focused resource hub for Minecraft players. The Site is operated as a non-commercial, community project and is not affiliated with Mojang AB, Microsoft Corporation, or any official Minecraft entity.

By accessing, browsing, or using any part of Minesite — including seed listings, seed map tools, structure finders, the skin editor, blog content, and any other features — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are under the age of 13, you must have parental or guardian consent before using this Site. If you are under the age required by your jurisdiction to form a legal agreement, your parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

USE OF THE SERVICE

Minesite provides free, community-curated tools and content for Minecraft players, including but not limited to:

• Seed Library — Curated Minecraft seed codes for Java Edition and Bedrock Edition, tested and verified on current game versions.
• Seed Map Viewer — An interactive map that renders Minecraft worlds from seed codes to help you preview biomes, structures, and terrain.
• Structure Finders — Tools to locate villages, strongholds, ancient cities, trial chambers, slime chunks, nether fortresses, end cities, and biomes within a given seed.
• Skin Editor — A browser-based pixel editor for creating and downloading custom Minecraft skins.
• Blog & Guides — Minecraft-related articles, farm guides, build tutorials, and gameplay tips.

All tools are provided "as is" and are intended for personal, non-commercial use. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

Minesite does not guarantee the accuracy of seed data, structure coordinates, or map renderings. World generation may vary between Minecraft versions, editions, and snapshots. Always verify seeds in your actual game client.

ACCOUNTS & ACCESS

Minesite does not require user accounts, logins, or passwords. All tools and content are freely accessible without registration.

Interactive features such as the skin editor may store settings locally in your browser using localStorage or sessionStorage. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

We reserve the right to restrict access to any part of the Site if we detect abuse, automated scraping, or behavior that negatively impacts the experience for other users.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The original content on Minesite — including site design, CSS styles, JavaScript code, editorial text, seed descriptions, guide articles, and the Minesite brand identity — is the property of Minesite and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or republish Minesite's original content (text, design, code) without prior written permission.
• Use automated tools, scrapers, or bots to extract data from the Site in bulk.
• Remove or alter any copyright notices, trademarks, or attribution from Minesite content.
• Create derivative works based on Minesite's design, code, or content for commercial purposes.

You are welcome to share individual seed links, screenshots, or short excerpts with proper attribution to Minesite. Linking to our pages is always permitted and encouraged.

USER-GENERATED CONTENT

Minesite may accept community contributions, including:

• Seed submissions with descriptions, coordinates, and screenshots.
• Custom skins created with the skin editor.
• Bug reports, feedback, and contact messages.

By submitting content to Minesite, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, modify, and distribute that content on the Site. You retain ownership of your original work.

You represent and warrant that:

• Any content you submit is your own original work or you have permission to share it.
• Your submissions do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
• Your content does not contain personal information about others (such as real names, addresses, or contact details).
• Your content is appropriate for a general audience and does not contain offensive, harmful, or illegal material.

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any user-submitted content at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

PROHIBITED CONDUCT

When using Minesite, you agree not to:

• Abuse the service — Attempt to overload, hack, exploit, or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure.
• Scrape or crawl excessively — Use bots, spiders, or automated tools to extract data from the Site beyond normal browsing.
• Impersonate others — Misrepresent your identity or claim false affiliations.
• Submit harmful content — Upload or transmit malware, viruses, spam, or any content designed to harm other users or the Site.
• Engage in illegal activity — Use the Site for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international law.
• Interfere with other users — Harass, threaten, or intimidate other community members.

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of third-party services.

Minesite may contain links to external websites, resources, or Minecraft-related communities. These links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of linked sites.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• Warranties that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or harmful components.
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of seed data, coordinates, map renderings, or any other content.

Minecraft world generation is controlled by Mojang AB. Seeds, coordinates, and structure locations may change between game versions. Minesite cannot guarantee that any seed will produce the expected world on your specific game version and edition.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Minesite and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, saved skins, or editor work due to browser storage issues.
• Inaccurate seed data, wrong coordinates, or mismatched game versions.
• Service interruptions, downtime, or unavailability.
• Actions of third-party services or linked websites.
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Minesite and its operators from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of or access to the Site.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your submission of content that infringes any third-party rights.
• Any misuse of the tools, features, or data provided by Minesite.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the law, or the features we offer. When we make changes:

• The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
• Material changes may be highlighted on the home page or via a site notice.

Continued use of Minesite after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you should discontinue use of the Site.
