About This Seed
The Sulfur Ring is a Java 26.2 seed with a very specific identity: a ring-like, sulfur-themed crater layout that feels different from the usual cherry grove or plains village starts. It is the kind of seed to try when you want terrain to set the mood of the whole world.
The start is not about easy village comfort. It is about building around a strange natural shape and using the nearby underground and structure routes as goals. The Ruined Portal at 224,~,32 is the first practical coordinate I would check, followed by the Trial Chamber at 272,~,80 once you have gear. Mineshafts at -112,~,16 and 112,~,-16 make the underground side more useful, especially for early rails, wood, and exploration.
There are several bigger trips too. Another Trial Chamber at -384,~,192, a Shipwreck at -496,~,16, a Ruined Portal at -608,~,48, and a third Trial Chamber at 160,~,-336 give the seed a nice loop around the ring area. That makes it good for players who like mapping routes and slowly turning landmarks into connected outposts.
I would build this seed with the ring as the centerpiece. Put a base on the rim, leave the crater visible, and use bridges or tunnels to connect each side. It is not the safest beginner seed, but it has a stronger theme than many normal starts. For players who want a weird, dramatic world with trial chambers and mineshafts nearby, this one has a lot to work with.
