Cherry Valley Village is a clean Java 1.20+ seed for players who want the classic comfortable start: a village, a scenic valley, cherry grove color, and enough nearby structures to keep survival moving. It is not trying to be the strangest seed on the list. It is trying to be the one you can actually play for weeks.
The villages are the reason this seed works so well. A Plains Village at -400,~,-224 gives you a clear first destination, while another Plains Village at 160,~,224 gives you options in the opposite direction. The Taiga Village at 208,~,-464 adds spruce wood and a different settlement style, which is useful if you want multiple village districts instead of one crowded trading hall.
Progression is also close. Trial Chambers at 240,~,-480 and 112,~,160 provide combat goals, the Ruined Portal at 224,~,-464 is worth checking on a village route, and the Ancient City at -352,~,208 gives the world a dangerous late-game layer beneath the pretty surface.
I would use the valley as the main build frame. Keep the village visible, plant cherry paths toward the slopes, and use the surrounding hills for lookout towers or farms. The seed is especially good for players who want a peaceful-looking world that still has real content underneath.
